        Hi Bernie,

We are 66 and 67 and also experienced times when we had problems remembering things. What we have done is repeat the tests after each one a few times, we also printed out the 4 page leaflet and found some mock tests on the RSGB website which we did too.

Once we completed the modules, the other day, we started at the begining again and did each short test, one after another, to see what we’d remembered. I think we have done each one 4 times now.

Repetition has helped us – seeing the same questions and answers. Anything we got wrong we looked up again to try to see why we got it wrong.

One thing we found very useful was to watch the video and then look at each page below it, reading what it said. I downloaded the slides for two parts but didn’t end up using those.
We also bought the Essex Ham study book from Amazon.

Biggest help for us has been doing the tests because if we got it wrong we a) learnt what was the right answer and b) saw why.

The last thing we did was ask chatgp to create a 26 question mock test – it wasn’t perfect but gave us more questions.

We have just bought the kindle edition of the essex ham mocks and will work through that – we’ve done the first one so far.

        Hope this helps,

        Jani

Some good advice from Jani there.

If it’s a help, this short video explains some of the study options available. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFgn6qSXwpk

          Best regards,

          Pete
